I spent the past week in Texas, which is a state with serious swagger. They think they’re the best, and they want you to think so, too. Texas definitely has it’s charms: Tex Mex food, unapologetically large portions of BBQ, a dry heat (rather than humid), and miles and miles of sky. But as soon as our plane landed at Bradley, I couldn’t help but think how much I missed the landscape of Connecticut: gentle rolling hills, good pizza, fresh seafood (with easy access to the ocean!), watermelon ale, and greenery for miles.
