Solo Day Tripping to Litchfield County

April 6, 2012 by Elizabeth Larkin Leave a Comment

This is not an ad for New Castle, I truly prefer Connecticut-brewed beers (specifically, this one!), but this is an ad to entice you to drink your first outdoor beer of the season, locate your lost golf balls, and to perhaps take your shoes off outside for the first time since mid-October. If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, check in on one of these sites that feature events going on in Connecticut.

As for me, on Saturday I’m day tripping solo to Litchfield County and plan to hit the Bantam Bread Co., Arethusa Dairy, and Black Swan in Bantam. I might even stop in at my favorite bar/restaurant in Litchfield, At the Corner.
